Prior to launching VR Mike worked in various corporate finance departments and, most recently, was a key member of a corporate mergers and acquisition team that successfully purchased and sold many businesses. Total value of these transactions exceeded $300 million. Mike understands the market and possesses the energy and enthusiasm to represent the many buyers and sellers eager to fulfill an ambition. Mike is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and the Texas Association of Business Brokers. He is a graduate of the University of Texas.

Kris Derrick is the co-owner of VR Business Brokers located in Austin, Texas. Kris is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and provides a unique entrepreneurial skill vital to the success of a business. Brannin Prideaux has over 20 years experience in both commercial banking and commercial real estate. His broad lending experience in the areas of SBA, factoring, commercial real estate, general business and distressed debt resolution bring a myriad of skills and insight to the successful marketing and structuring the sale of your business. Brannin’s experience as a commercial real estate owner / investor / manager has helped provide him with an “owner’s perspective” that can only be experienced from the other side of a banker's desk. He holds a BBA in Finance, Real Estate and Urban Land Management from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed Texas Real Estate Broker.

Tom Herzig has been in professional sales and sales management since his graduation in 1983 from Stephen F. Austin as a marketing and management major. He has been a successful account manager with various firms including Xerox and Motorola and has been the owner of a wireless company and medical supply company.

Alison Preslar serves as the marketing coordinator for the Austin office of VR Mergers & Acquisitions / VR Business Brokers and also assists as a broker associate for franchise resales. Alison’s degree in Economics from the University of Arizona brings a unique perspective to the business brokerage profession. With 9 years of experience in a variety of industries Alison complements the existing Austin team with a fresh insight to marketing solutions.
